As I am writing this blog the late summer heatwave has ended and it is certainly getting colder and rainier. Over the 15 years we have held Sleepout we have had all kinds of weather – from the dry and unseasonably mid, the foggy one, the one where the rain came in horizontally and we remember the one where participants woke up after a fitful nights sleep to frost on their sleeping bags!
For fifteen years without fail (even during the Covid Lockdown) we have held a Sleepout and did you know, over those years we estimate that you have helped raise over £400,000! Isn’t that incredible!
This year is no different – we are back to both venues again; Pirelli Stadium and St Modwens church. At Pirelli Stadium you have the option of the Concourses or the “village” outside with no cover.
Recently we took a look back at our Sleepout, and what occurred in the UK when it first began – the first of the Marvel films; Iron man was released in cinemas, Apple had their iPhone 3 out, Gordon Brown was Prime Minister AND we had an earthquake in the Midlands!!
As always, we would love for you to take part and spend a night in a box to fundraise and raise awareness for the homelessness plight in East Staffordshire. You can do this alone, with friends, family or colleagues on Friday 10th November.

If you cannot take part but want to show your support, then there are a number of ways which you can do this; you can sponsor part of the event, buy goods for the night or you can sponsor a box for £100, which will include lots of social media coverage for your business and your company name on a box at Sleepout on the evening.
